Another one-two...
A tip for all gamblers; From now on start to reckon Ferrari. It looks that we're moving
through years this year. Why? McLaren's dominance was saw through a decade till
1991 when they won their last title. We saw quite a number of McLaren one-twoes.
The French Grand Prix was a typical 1995 year. Not the best in the qualifying, but the
best in the race. Schumacher once again showed that he can win also with a bicycle.
Okay, so the car isn't that bad, but it's still not McLaren. But what if Ferrari's have
started behind McLarens?? What would have happened? Would Irvinator strike again?
Or would Schumacher didn't see another car after quitting the pits? The truth is out
there...
McLaren - The World Of Perfection
West McLaren Mercedes - the formula 1 team which showed us this year how an
ideal team should look like. Their organization, technical side and discipline is
perfect.
1998 Australian Grand Prix - Mika forgot his teddy bear and had to get into the
pits but unfortunately the pit crew wasn't able to find his teddy who was at the
toilet at that moment.
1998 Argentinean Grand Prix - The question of 'who's sitting behind the wheel'.
1998 San Marino Grand Prix - The best car in the field caught a cold and therefore
had to retire. The car didn't realize that Mika doesn't want to...
1998 Monaco Grand Prix - Well, David's car proved that their constructor is
former Williams guy and repeated 1996 Hill's smoky retirement at the same
place with the same problem.
1998 Canadian Grand Prix - The genius pit-boys forgot to mount the throttle pedal...
1998 French Grand Prix - While the pit-gays (oops - I mean "guys") still try to
mount
the throttle pedal, the other teams (namely one...) cought them.
McLaren's fuel hose said that DC's car is too young for sex...
Jos Is Back!
And Hakkinen already won't say hello to him in the paddock. First - He stalled
the car on the grid and Hakkinen's good start was away. The second start saw Mika
fall down the order behind Ferraris.
Second - Mika's chances to overtake Irvine at the end ended up when they were
trying to lap Jos the Boss.
Did Stewart really swapped Coke for Pepsi? Well, Jan is trying to make a job in
Stewart team again - as a truck driver. Stwart said he is too slow to drive a truck.
Jan's carrier is not over though - he got a great opportunity to drive for great
All American Racing team in U.S. Fedex CART series!
Jos - we wish you many happy returns (to the track after you fly again to the gravel).
And what did Jos do before he joined Stewart team? He was a tractor driver
in Dutch agriculture services on the field. They signed him after they saw how
efficient and successful he was driving through the field (or gravel trap) in F1.
Alex Zanardi on Ricardo Rosset
"...he's slower than my dog..." - so the great racer (who raced sooo
successfully in
F1 in previous years...)
...and who said Eddie ain't good??!
Quite boring race, wasn't it? So is Eddie really capable of racing in F1 or should he
really go to agriculture as Jos did before? He really proved that he can show great
racing. It was a great action seeing him at the very final corner battling with Mika!
Go Eddie Go!!!
Predictions
What shall we see in the next episode of popular Grand Prix series?
Starring: Mika Hakkinen, Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard and Eddie Irvine.
Mika has a great start but fails to change the gear after he finds out that his
mechanics forgot to mount it on the steering wheel. Schumacher gets into the lead
and after his second out of one pitstop shuts his eyes and eliminates a bug on the
road. He gets a 10 sec STOP/GO penalty for passing while there isn't a marshall
with a blue flag (like in Montreal). Meanwhile David Coulthard tries to fight for
the lead with Eddie Irvine and both go into the pits in the same time. After about
20 seconds we see Irvine exiting the pits and Coulthard exiting the race after
he gave up from quarrelling with the fuel hose to get in. Eddie gently brakes
harder and Michael Schumacher wins. Eddie Irvine will collide with Gerhard
Berger as he had many times before...or??
Martin, the fuel hose
